Big Hero 6 (2014)

IMDB: "Big Hero 6"
I saw the trailer a hundred times where I work, so much that I became sick of it. When I saw it.. it blew my mind!! I fell in love with Baymax like I did with Wall-E! And what is the coolest about it all: It's both Disney and Marvel!

Hiro (Ryan Potter - (Please, Ryan.. Have a kid and name him Harry!)
and Baymax (Scott Adsit) getting to know each other strengths.
Hiro loves to enter his robot in robot fights, because although he's young and his robot is a tiny, smiling, non-threatening little guy, Hiro is a really smart kid. Spoilers: He dominates!

His brother, Tadashi (Daniel Henney) is also pretty smart and he attends to San Fransokyo Tech where he builds and invents things and this is where we meet all his friends, but also Baymax!

Fred (T.J. Miller), Honey Lemon (Genesis Rodriguez), Hiro,
Go Go (Jamie Chung) and Wasabi (Damon Wayans Jr.).
Something horrible happens so Hiro wants revenge, and somehow ends up with Baymax and they start investigating. Luckily they get some help from Tadashis friends and they all become super heroes!

I don't want to spoil anything, so I'm just going to say that if you love Disney and/or Marvel (who doesn't..) you should check out this movie! Like I said, I was sceptical when I started out, but after "5 seconds" I was all in! This movie is beautiful, funny, awesome and heartwarming!

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

IMDB: "Guardians of the Galaxy"
On IMDBs Top 250 Movies
People have been looking forward to this film forever it feels, and I understand that.. I try to not have any hopes for any type of movie, but it seemed really cool from what I've seen.. And as a fan of Marvel (I mean, they have a lot of awesome movies!) I gotta say that this film did not hold up to my standards. On the poster it says it's from the creators of "The Avengers" and for me, if you put that as a comparison, you're aiming high enough.

I know I sound really disappointed, but it's not that bad. It was funny, cool and stuff, but there was just too much stories braided into each other. I really liked Chris Pratt, he's an up and coming star. And Vin Diesel as Groot, that was pretty awesome! I don't know the comics of these "heroes", but I hope, for the comic-fans that they did them justice. I just wish I liked it better..

Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Peter (Chris Pratt), Rocket (Bradley Cooper),
Drax (Dave Bautista) and Groot (Vin Diesel).
Peter (Pratt) is abducted right after his mother dies, and 20 years later we see him as he finds a ball that is actually a really powerful weapon. The bad guy, Ronan (Lee Pace) wants this really bad, so he puts a bounty on Peter, so everyone is after him. This is where we meet Gamora (Saldana), Rocket (Cooper), Groot (Diesel) and Drax (Bautista)! All of them wants to kill everyone, but they stick together after being captured. And now they gotta stay together to prevent Ronan getting that ball because that would be catastrophic! Well, they are Guardians of the Galaxy, right? They oughta do something..

The Collector (Benicio Del Toro)
Uhm.. well hello there! Chris Pratt.. I didn't even know..!

X-Men: First Class (2011)

Here we meet all of the mutants as young and a few "new ones". And if that wasn't enough: Kevin Bacon is the bad guy!! He's a pretty cool guy and his face just works for being bad.

I smell Bacon.. and it smells good!!
Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) has hair, Eric Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) is .. just as bad as before. BUT they're friends?! Charles meets Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) when they're kids and develop a sort of sister/brother relationship. When they're older, they gather up a group of mutants and this is where they meet Eric/Magneto. They're teamed up to stop the war that's about to erupt, but there's also another threat: Sebastian Shaw (Bacon), who Eric has known his whole life, but he's not so fond of him, to say it mildly..

The gang of awesomeness:
Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones), Magneto (Fassbender), Mystique (Lawrence), Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Xavier (McAvoy) and Havok (Lucas Till).

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

IMDB: "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"
I saw this movie 7 times when it was running in the movie theaters, 3 of them were by myself just because I wanted to see it again and again! I have it on DVD and Blu-Ray, just in case.

Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) Hubba, hubba!!

This is the story of Logan (Jackman) and his brother Victor (Liev Schreiber) and their way through life. Victor takes a wrong turn and Logan wants out of trouble so they each go their seperate ways. Logan is now (sort of) happy with his girl Kayla (Lynn Collins), but all of a sudden Victor shows up again and starts up trouble and the rest is pure awesomness!

Brothers for life (a loooong life!), Logan and Victor. Hardcore man-power!

Sequel of: "X-Men", "X-Men 2" and "X-Men: The Last Stand".

Thor: The Dark World (2014)

IMDB: "Thor: The Dark World"
I actually don't remember much from "Thor".. I only remember the hotness from The Mighty Thor himself: Chris Hemsworth, so of course I couldn't wait for this film too. Besides from being mesmerised from muscles, I loved the story and I fell in love with Loki! He's so funny, but bad at the same time.

Tom Hiddleston.. my new crush!
This time, Thor has been away for a couple of years, so Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) has sort of given up on looking for him. But you know Thor, he'll be back after saving the world and all that. And before he gets to Jane, she's "infected" with some red mysterious fog-type-thing that makes her very desirable for Malekith (the bad guy) because he wants what she has, it's not for her to play with.

This movie has humour, emotional moments, action, handsome men.. and it's Marvel! Gotta love those superheroes! Good or bad!

Sequel of "Thor".

The Avengers (2012)

IMDB: "The Avengers"
On IMDBs Top 250 Movies
This was the movie we'd all been waiting for! And holy mother of all superheroes, did they do a good job! I love this movie! It's got a lot of superheroes, an awesome and epic villain and great action! What else can you ask for? And I remember getting all mad because Mark Ruffalo was gonna be The Hulk. He was "too nice and sweet" to play him. Edward Norton was The Hulk! But Ruffalo really knocked it out of the park! The Best Hulk Ever!

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) assembles Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) to save the world (once again) from Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his army. And the rest is history.. an unforgettable fight for world peace!

The Hulk (Ruffalo) and Iron Man (Downey Jr.) is more brain-users..
you know.. until Hulkie goes a little mad..!

Hawkeye (Renner), Captain America (Evans) and Black Widow (Johansson) fit for fight!

Thor (Hemsworth) showing off his hammer.. and some muscles!

Nick Fury (Jackson) gettin' down and dirty!

Loki (Hiddleston) being all mysteries and sexy!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

IMDB: "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"
I love me some superheroes, and Spidey is one of the coolest ones. After I saw "The Amazing Spider-Man", I didn't like "Spider-Man", especially "Spider-Man 3"! They're alright, but not as cool as the amazing ones! And this is another example were the sequel is better than the first one! In my opinion, of course..

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does what ever a spider can!
Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is struggling to balance the duties as the superhero Spider-Man and his beautiful girlfriend, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). He has her fathers last words on his mind before he died, not to include her in his life because it would mean putting her in danger. He also meets up with an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) and the new "villain" Electro (Jamie Foxx) comes into his life and things get a little bit.. well.. complicated.. Spider-Man, what will you do?!?

Peter (Garfield) and Harry Osborn (DeHaan) = Friends 4 Life

Peter Parker (Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Stone) are boyfriend and girlfriend both on and off set..

Max Dillon aka. Electro (Foxx) was a bad-ass good-guy-turned-bad-guy

Sequel of "The Amazing Spider-Man".
Other Spider-Man movies: "Spider-Man", "Spider-Man 2" and "Spider-Man 3".

X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

IMDB: "X-Men: Days of Future Past"
On IMDBs Top 250 Movies
I'm a HUGE fan of X-Men and I want to be a mutant so badly! And yes, Mystique is my favorite! She's bad-ass and blue! And here you have all the good oldies from the first X-Men movies and the new ones from "X-Men: First Class" and it doesn't get better than that! They don't stop there, you also get Peter Dinklage as the bad guy! We all love to love him in "Game of Thrones"! I rest my case.

Dr. Bolivar Trask is actually a "normal-sized" man in the Comics, but the director Bryan Singer loved Dinklage so much, he insisted that Dinklage got the part. Thank you, Singer!
Rebecca Romijn plays Mystique in the first X-Men movies,
but as a young Mystique, Jennifer Lawrence takes on the part and does it brilliantly!
This time, the mutants are in deep sh.. sement.. It's war and they're up against Sentinals that Dr. Bolivar Trask (Dinklage) made years ago. They're impossible to beat because they're made for killing mutants. So you know.. somethings gotta be done! So the "old gang" sends back Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time to stop Mystique from ruining everything.

Wolverine (Jackman), Magneto (Fassbender), Xavier (McAvoy) and the new kid on the block, Quicksilver (Evan Peters). Most. Awesome. Scene. Ever! You'll know when you see it!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

IMDB: "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"
It's a rare thing when the sequel is better then the first, but in this case, it's true! El Capitan is back and he's got some work to do now that "his own" is going against him! The only thing that bothers me in this movie is the title.. "The Winter Soldier" - you barely see him. But anywho.. It's action filled and awesome!

Mr. America (Chris Evans) looking all serious and stuff!
All is well in America, but there's a new bad guy in town: The Winter Soldier! But wait! There's more.. The S.H.I.E.L.D. is being a naughty-naughty company! And there's only one man who can do something about it (with a little help from Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie)): CAPTAIN AMERICA!

* 7/10 *

Sequel of "Captain America: The First Avenger" and he is also in "The Avengers".
